A unique doubled sided Blue John & Whitby pendant
You're looking at a beautiful Blue John & Whitby jet pendant.
Blue John is a rare type of fluorite found only in Derbyshire, England, and it's prized for its distinctive bands of purple, blue, and white, it's also considered one Britain's rarest minerals. So naturally it sits well with Whitby Jet
The Jet stone is gathered from the cliffs & shoreline around Whitby hand shaped, ground set & polished in my workshop
The pendant itself is a beautiful oblong shape & made from Sterling 925 solid silver, it has a lovely solid chain bail with a celtic style scroll & oversized hallmarks on the wide sides.
The chain itself is a really nice quality oval belcher weighing10.9grams & 18" long with a heavy lobster style catch. The pendant can be worn either stone side.
All our items are made with genuine Whitby Jet, gathered from the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline around Whitby. Comes in our branded jewellery boxes for gifting.
