Sea washed Jet has naturally been shaped & sculpted over many years, tumbled by the currents & coastal storms against rocks & sand removing the outer layer of shale & stone usually found on its surface when just taken directly from the cliff.
This process reveals the natural beauty of these unique tumbled pieces, & shows of the dark mysterious luster only Whitby Jet has.
This sea washed Jet is given a very light extra polish then a sterling silver frame is handmade to cradle the stone securely & also giving a beautiful minimalist contrast to the Jet, this lets the stone's natural beauty take center stage, the polished jet contrasts beautifully against the silver, making it a sophisticated statement piece.

Made with genuine Whitby Jet, gathered from around the beautiful North Yorkshire rugged coastline around Whitby. Comes in our branded jewellery box for gifting.
